Have you experienced before...that most days in the week when you wake up, you just hope that you dont need to go to work? Then..when you are at work, you wish that you do not need to work at all. At first you thought that it was because you were tired and didnt have enough rest, but after some rest for a few days, you still feel bored with work. Have this happened to you guys before?

I have been having this problem recently for the past few months. At first I thought it was because I was tired and didnt have enough rest..but after some rest, I still feel " jelak " about work. Ok...then I start thinking...is it because my rest is not long enough for me to recover? But..how long is needed for a complete rest so that one can recover from the " jelak"ness about work ?

OR.... is it that I am just mere lazy? getting old and getting lazier and lazier??? Hmm... I really dont understand..

I think I used to like my work a lot..sort of enjoy it a lot too as I do have sense of satisfaction at work, esp when I helped people at work...but eventhough I am still " helping" people now at work, but I am still feel bored with my work.

Anyone experienced this before? How did you overcome it? Can share with me your " secret of success" ? :P

Hi,Hui Yin...What you have share at here,is same with my condition. I been have this feeling and think too. As for now, same. I do enjoy serving and helping people in free condition. What i mean not in work like have to punch card and have to work from what time until what time.

After joining the Malaysian care that our church organised,i do have the heart to join as volunteer to help the people in need. Its more joyful to help people rather that sit in office doing the same thing over again and again everyday.

Hehe....i have find to solution to overcome it yet. My condition now more hard than yours...my parent still worried about me to get to drive car myself.

Sian Lin:

Either your are stress out; or too many work; (both does not seem so) or you find the routine is repeating. This proved that you already have the basic skills to do your work. You are moving to another stage, it depends on where you heading to, this is the time where one start to build his / her network in the field of their career.

You are just one of the working young adult. =)
